Hudson Valley Man Commits Criminal Sex Act At Work, Police Say

A 59-year-old is behind bars after state police from the Poughkeepsie barracks say he committed a criminal sexual act with a non-consenting victim at work.

Troopers responded to Old Route 82 in the town of Washington for a report of sexual assault at the Green Briar Adult Home on Monday, March 12.

Following an investigation, a man who worked at the facility, Curtis J. Shultz of Millbrook, was arrested on Wednesday, March 21 and charged with criminal sexual act in the first degree, a Class B felony.

Shultz was arraigned before the town of Washington Court, and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond. An order of protection was requested for and granted to the victim.
